Tips To Make A Simple And Organized Move
Published on Tuesday, 24 November 2009
Do you
believe that moving is an exciting activity to pursue? Certainly, it is stressful yet it is exciting. However, excitement is given if you know how to achieve and maintain organization for your move. Actually, organization is your key for a less hassle and less stressful move.
So now, how can you be organized? Simple, you can start it by preparing a checklist; a checklist that will detail what you should do and where you should pack the stuffs. Keep in mind that this checklist will not solely be useful before your move but also after you move by knowing where you placed things and what to unpack first.
Afterwards, it is time to remove all the unnecessary stuffs. These are the things you kept to address the ?just in case? belief. Don't carry all of these stuffs anymore to your new place as these may only
increase your moving costs. Dispose them through garage sale or donations to charity organizations.
Next is to box all your things and label each box to make your unpacking job a cinch. To make it simpler, you can also color coordinate each box based on which room it belongs to such as yellow for bedroom.
Lastly, do not forget to pack a survival kit. This will include toothbrush, can opener, plates, flashlights, and other things you will surely need immediately once you arrived in your new home.
