Besides looking for good and decent tenants, you also have to worry about contracts, taxes and paperwork. But should you hire a broker to help you rent out your property? * They can do background checks on prospective tenants.
Cons:
* Brokers get a commission, so you lose valuable cash.
* You might even have to pay the broker for extras. He might bill you for advertising done on the Internet, radio, papers, etc.
* You don't get to meet all of the potential tenants. You have to trust your broker with regards to tenant screening.
