Step 1: Prepare you packing must-haves: packing tape, cardboard boxes, bubble wrap, and newspapers.
Step 2: Individually wrap each item with newspaper or bubble wrap and secure them with a tape. Separately organize flat fragile items from glasses and cups.
Step 3: Place a generous amount of bubble wrap or newspaper at the bottom of the box to give cushion to your fragile items.
Step 4: Place glasses and cups in an upright position. Then on top, place cardboard and bubble wrap. Similarly, place your wrapped plates on top of each other.
Step 5: Make alternate layers of fragile items and padding.
Step 6: Do step 4 and 5 until you fill the top. Remember to fill the gaps with padding to avoid friction while moving.
Step 7: Close the box and secure it with a packing tape.
Step 8: Label the box properly. Write down ‘fragile' and ‘this side up' on each box.
Step 9: Place the boxes in a secure position where they can be safe from accidental bumps while on the road. Use blankets to ensure extra support for your fragile materials.
