Last Preparations to Moving
Published on Thursday, 19 August 2010

Even though you're finally done with all the
essentials of moving (you've set a date
with the moving company of your choice and packed your things), there are a couple small things to take care of. Changing your address You've probably made a lot of subscriptions to companies that have your old address in their files. If you want to cancel your subscription or disconnect the service, now is the time to do it. If you want to continue availing of their services, however, then try to inform them of your move as early as possible. Four weeks prior to your move should be enough. Consider the following services or subscriptions: internet, newspaper, magazine, cable, cell phone and telephone. Taking care of the kids or the pets If you have little children or pets, you may want to have a sitter take care of them on the busy day of the move. You'll have so much on your mind that you might not be able to attend to them much.
Moving can also be dangerous, so having someone paying attention to your little ones at all times is definitely a good idea.
