Tips on making a same day move successful
First, you must prepare the vehicle you will use for the move. If you have a huge van, then that would do. However, if you have none, better call
for a van service that will transport your
valuables. A van service normally assists you in the loading and unloading of your items. Second, immediately go to a hardware store and purchase the following supplies: boxes, bubble wraps, marker pens, box cutter, nylon rope, and packaging tape. These are essential when packing your stuff. You need the boxes as the primary storage and the bubble wraps are needed for fragile items. The marker pens are essential in labelling the boxes with regard to their content. The box cutter, nylon rope, and packaging tape are all needed in the packaging process.
Third, contact the utility companies, cable, and post-office about your move. They need to be informed that you are discontinuing their service. You would not want to pay fees for services that you will no longer be availing.
Fourth, have your cellular phone fully charged before you do the move. You may need to do some
calls when moving on the same day.
Last but not the least, pack all your medication, documents, and other pertinent stuff that you may need to immediately access on a suit case. In that manner, it is convenient for you to retrieve them when looked-for.
