How to Pack Pictures, Mirrors, and Paintings

Published on Tuesday, 22 December 2009

You'll surely regret packing pictures, mirrors, and paintings by piling them up and tying them with a strong string. Before you make any packing procedures for these things, better read these tips on how to properly do the packing for them:

·       Pack frames in a special box for mirrors or pictures. Depending on the frame's thickness, two or more frames can fit in one box. It's okay to do this as long as the frames are of almost the same size.
·       Mirrors and pictures should be wrapped individually using bubblewrap and paper pad. After wrapping, you can pile these up in a box.
·       Cardboard between each glass can provide better protection for the glasses.
·       Pack pictures, mirrors, and paintings in a box that fits them well. Too large box will only cause damages on these things. Some spaces around the thing are okay but make sure to fill those empty spaces with crumpled paper to prevent damaging moves of the item during the travel.
·       Label the box ?Fragile? for mirrors and delicate frames. This will warn anyone who will carry the box that the items inside are breakable.

Now, you don't have to worry about your pictures, mirrors, and paintings anymore. You already know how to pack these delicate and fragile items properly to their safety during the move.
