Going for a Greener Move

Going for a Greener Move With concerns about global warming and climate change are on the rise, we all have to do our part to make earth a better place to live in. Moving is no exception. Here are a few ways to make your move a greener, more environment friendly one. One way to go for a greener move is to use recycled boxes. They are much cheaper than buying brand new boxes, and you can also resell or donate them after. You can also do this if you've already bought new boxes. You can also give away non-biodegradable Styrofoam and packing peanuts so you don't have to throw them away. Some organizations will also buy these things from you at a small cost. You can also choose to use packing peanuts as a sort of potpourri, spraying them with scents or using them in other arts and crafts and homemade designs. What's more, packing peanuts can also be used to line the bottoms of potted plants, as they allow for better drainage and allows the plants to breathe better from underneath the pot. When packing, you can also use newspaper and magazine pages to wrap your things in as paper is biodegradable. If you have a lot, you can also use this as filling and padding instead of Styrofoam or packing peanuts. MORE NEWS AND TIPS
