Deciding How Many Moving Boxes You Will Need
Published on Saturday, 19 December 2009
Every household is different from another.
That makes moving different as well.
Moving boxes that your neighbor needed when they moved may not be enough or just too much for you. Better consider not others but your own house's size when deciding
how many moving boxes to buy.
Here is the list of the approximated number of moving boxes you'll need depending on how many rooms your house has:
- One to two. You'll need about 9 small boxes, 4 medium boxes, 4 large boxes, 2 dish boxes, 2 wardrobe boxes, and one file box.
- Three to four. Prepare 15 small boxes, 13 medium boxes, 9 large boxes, 4 dish packs, 4 wardrobe boxes, and one file box.
- Seven to eight. Get about 35 small boxes, 23 medium boxes, 13 large boxes, 5 dish packs, 5 wardrobe boxes, and one file box.
You can save some money by buying boxes in bundle. Some online stores specializing in selling moving boxes offer a set of moving boxes that includes the regular boxes, dish boxes, wardrobe boxes, and file box.
Using moving boxes can be more expensive than just collecting those free boxes. But those ordinary boxes will threaten the safety of your things. Better safe than sorry-use moving boxes. Besides, what's some dollars of investment to ensure your things will be moved safe and sound?
